Church’s Chicken franchisee + Shoney’s breakfast bar franchise = crazy delicious?

Only time will tell.

Arcapita, the Bahrain-based Islamic Investment Bank, with its US headquarters in Atlanta, bought Church’s a couple of years ago. Church’s had to stop serving sausage biscuits and take the pork out of its rice and beans. Strangely there are Church’s Chicken franchises in Kuwait Indonesia.

Atlanta is home to Waffle House, Chick-Fil-A, Arby’s and Church’s, but Shoney’s HQ will remain in Nashville.
