I work on campus, it was pretty minor.

A propane gas leak late Thursday morning forced officials to briefly evacuate a portion of the Georgia Tech campus.

The leak in a 1,000-gallon propane tank at 947 Atlantic Drive near 10th Street was reported shortly before 11 a.m., said Atlanta fire Capt. Byron Kennedy.

Officials shut down 10th Street in both directions, and two nearby buildings were evacuated, said Georgia Tech spokesman Matt Nagel.

The leak was capped within a few minutes and the buildings and roads reopened.
