The Perks

Lately, I’m going out of my way to be a customer at Inman Perk in, wait for it, Inman Park. When I first walked in, I thought I merely liked it. Turns out I was wrong and I like it a whole lot. There’s a nice combination of slick modernism and warm comfort here. Plus, the service and drinks are awfully good. And the chances of seeing dogs on the patio are quite high.

I like puppies.

Perk Place in Hapeville is also a nice, local coffee shop. Family run. Good coffee, free wifi & etc..

Even though I live closer to IP, I’ll always favor Java Vino.

I love Inman Perk.. I’m actually there right now. Be sure to check out their last.fm page ( http://www.last.fm/user/inmanperk ) when you’re in there to see what they are playing.

Yeah, I’ve really warmed up to Perk in Glenwood Park and Joe’s is always admirable. I got the chance to talk the person whom I’m assuming is Dawn and she was super-nice. So huzzah for Perk and Joe.

Meanwhile, Inman Perk’s last.fm page is pretty rad, thanks for the link! They play a lot of stuff from my own playlist, which makes me feel like I have good taste. ‘Cause let’s not forget, people, that it’s all about me. Or something.

    I shut up now.

I love the Inman Perk! It’s the only place I know in Atlanta that has the best coffee, a comfy atmosphere, and _no_ coffee-snob attitude! I think that they actually have such a great thing going that they don’t have to talk themselves up. The owner (I think his name is Guy, either that or he is the owner guy) rocks! It’s nice to see a young business owner put something together from scratch that totally blows away all the chains and high-end shops.
