East Atlanta Strut

Yep, another East Atlanta post.

If you don’t have plans for this Saturday, you should check out the East Atlanta Strut. This annual festival, held in the East Atlanta village, is a show up early, stay late event. The 5K walk/run registration begins at 7:00 a.m.. The parade . . . er, strut is at 2p.m. and the village pulls out all the stops with food, art, and music all day and into the night.

This is a very family-friendly, stroller in one hand, beer in the other kind of festival during the day, but the evening becomes a little more debauched. Best of both worlds.
