Something to be excited about…

Really, this is so very exciting. Figo Pasta, the wonderful pasta restaurant currently in Decatur, W. Midtown, and Buckhead (on Collier), is coming to Virginia-Highland (and Edgewood, apparently)!

OMG, Figo next to Paolo’s? I could wet my pants right now.

Yeah – because one in the neighborhood isn’t enough. In case you didn’t see it, there’s one going in by the Caribou by Target @ Edgewood as well.

    Hooray for more chains!

NM, you did see it. My reading comprehension could use some work.

Virginia-Highland and Edgewood are hardly the same neighborhood. That’s like saying the Taco Mac in Virginia-Highland is in the same neighborhood as the one at Lindbergh. Or that Hand-in-Hand is in the same neighborhood as Prince of Wales. In fact, I’d say they’re pretty well spaced apart.

What’s wrong with chains – especially the homegrown variety? I mean, at least it’s not Chili’s or Moe’s. Was Flying Biscuit a chain (before it became a chain) since it had two locations?

I just wish that they were forced to define “soon.” That “Coming Soon” poster has been up in Edgewood for at least five months.
