No News from the Athens QB Race

I know that Athens isn’t Atlanta (and wouldn’t want to be!), but there are enough of us UGA grads here in the metro area that any Bulldog news is Atlanta news. Unfortunately, there is no new information out of Athens concerning the Bulldog quarterback race; all four QBs are still in the running.

In my opinion, no news is not good news. Sounds to me like none of the four hopefuls have exactly wowed Mark Richt. Richt says he will wait to make a decision with which he feels comfortable, but it seems to me that the longer Richt waits, the less intense practice the final QB pick will actually get. This does not bode well for September 2nd’s game with Western Kentucky (I know. I know! But anything could happen!) and bodes even worse for South Carolina on the 9th.

Anyone else excited and nervous to see how this plays out?

p.s. Double-dawg dare ya to make snide comments about the impropriety of a female discussing SEC football.

Word on the street is Tereshinksi is in the lead for the QB spot.

I think it’s hot that a woman is talking SEC football!

Agreed, Jam – I think it is going to be Joe T, but it really does speak volumes that it’s taking Richt so long to decide. p.s. Just think about how much fun my husband has when I talk wishbone and shotgun formation.

Greg, you have found me out: I have managed to infiltrate the Jacket fortress. Phase II: Take the mother down.
