East Atlanta Farmer’s Market

Just after I wrote about the Reynoldstown and East Atlanta community gardens, I received notice that East Atlanta will have its own farmer’s market!

Okay, it probably won’t be on par with the phenomenal Dekalb Farmer’s Market, but I am excited to have a local one in my very own hood! The farmer’s market will take place Thursdays from 6 pm to 9 pm, August 3rd through October in the East Atlanta Arts and Antique Bazaar parking lot. It also coincides with East Atlanta’s First Thursdays, a mini-festival that takes place in East Atlanta the first Thursday of every month and which helps support local organizations.

Thanks to Michelle Newcome of East Atlanta for the tip!

That is great news! Yes DeKalb Farmer’s Market is great. But nothing beats the Farmer’s Markets in California.
