After passing the darkened windows of the former Wild Curry & Chia Gao restaurant at 10th Street and Juniper, I noticed a new sign above the door: SbyDee. Believe me, it took a while for me to get the images of a red and blue costumed web maker out of my head.

But it seems like SbyDee will be another Thai restaurant in the space. According to their site, it will be operated by chefs trained at the same owners of Nan Thai Fine Dining. If that’s true, I’ll definitely be there. Yum!

From the rumor mill: I heard that the chef had a medical illness that made her unable to continue cooking there. The food declined, thus the clientele, until it was time to close.

The website states they have experience @ Nan, doesn’t mention it’s the same owners. Nonetheless, I’m excited for the place to open. :) Thanks for sharing!
