One of my favorite festivals of the year starts today in Peidmont Park – the Dogwood Festival! Of course, it means that traffic and parking in my neighborhood will be frustrating, but having this wonderful festival is always worth it.

Remember, they still have that stupid rule of no pets (except service animals and those that are competing). Seriously, does anyone think that the rule is good?

I refuse to drive anywhere this entire weekend just so I can save my parking spot! I feel your parking pain…

Went this afternoon for a couple hours with the family. I don’t think we’ve got for the last couple years. It’s gotten IMMENSE. The number of vendors is crazy.

I was happy to see that nobody paid attention to the dog rule this year. I seriously doubt that all of the peek-a-poos and schnausers biting at my heels were “service animals”. Maybe they were frisbee catchers!
