From now on, I’m going with my gut…
…instead of listening to the weatherman or the weather.com predictions. It is not as hot as they said it was going to be.
On another note, the AJC.com OpinionTalk blog is asking if Atlanta’s best days are ahead of us. I’m an optimist, so I’m going to say yes. Especially because the Braves are going to win the World Series this year.
I was just commenting to a coworker about how it’s not as hot as I thought it was supposed to be. I realized that after I had left the house in a short-sleeved shirt, capri pants and flip-flops. :P
How can they be so wrong so often?
“If you don’t like the weather, wait 15 minutes.”
— an old joke we keep handing back and forth at work.
To be honest, I dress for the messed-up climate control I usually encounter *inside*– short sleeves (under the de rigueur black leather jacket) in winter, and a long sleeve shirt in summer. I can always roll up the sleeves.
The Braves? Win the World Series? Dude, you gotta take the plastic wrap *off* the pack of cigarettes before you smoke them.
