I’m a big fan of the Atlanta Botanical Garden, but I know there are things about it that could be improved. Well, the gardens have unveiled some plans for the revamped garden and they look fantastic.

Picture this: A gleaming visitors center facing neighboring Piedmont Park. A shared parking deck providing access to the garden and allowing an edible garden with a cafe to replace the existing parking lot. A canopy walk suspended among the treetops with a commanding view of surrounding woodlands. A cascade garden, lush with tropicals, in place of a drainage area.

Well, I’m excited.
