Brew City WiFi

If Milwaukee can get city-wide wifi, why not Atlanta?

I’m new to the whole WiFight (Daniel vs. Tony), but if a bunch of cheeseheads get their WiFi, I want mine (ours)!

Oh, and Cory Doctorow says WiFi isn’t short for “Wireless Fidelity”. Who knew?

Keep on surfin’!

Jeez… semantics. I used to work for Wi-Fi’s old marketing firm… my old boss helped invent the term! I also always thought it meant “wireless fidelity,” but I guess Mr. Belanger did explain it best, if you wanna get technical it doesn’t “stand for” anything (Perhaps Wi-Fi.org should update their website as such though). BTW, they also made webster’s – http://www.wi-fi.org/OpenSection/PR_Meriam_Webster_Adds_Wi_Fi.asp
