Rain in our Future…
You thought the previous storms were bad? I was just reading an article in the AJC about how this next storm coming is even stronger. That’s right. No break! The next storm Wilma is heading right for FL and that will bring us some wet days ahead.
“Forecasters said Wilma was stronger than the devastating Labor Day hurricane that hit the Florida Keys in 1935, the strongest Atlantic hurricane to make landfall on record.”
Hopes are that it will lose a lot of its strength before it hits land, and that it will continue to head east so that the already storm impacted areas (further west) get a little break… but with our luck lately …. might it not head straight for Atlanta? Either way, we are expected to get some rain in the days ahead.
Actually, the cold front that’s going to push Wilma into Florida will probably keep us out of her path.
I hope so… I also hope FL does not get hit too bad.
I’m just trying to figure out how to convince my mom to come up here.
