Athens (the real one) in Atlanta
Last night I stopped by the Greek Festival put on by the Atlanta Greek Orthodox Church. A thoroughly enjoyable experience, even in the misty rain. I love Greek food and I speak Greek, so I always feel at home at these sorts of things, but who can turn down $3 for access to dancing, music, entertainment, and shopping? And if you just want the great Gyros, Spanakopita, and Baklava then you can head through the drive-thru. Plus, haven’t you always wondered what a Greek accent sounds like when it has been extensively mixed with our Southern drawl?
And if $3 is too much for you, print out this coupon.
Thanks for the heads-up, Dan. I had no idea this was going on. I am very there.
