Walk this Way!!!!

Next month the Clear Air Campaign (CAC) kicks off their fall “Walk There! Challenge”.
Between October 3rd and October 30th – we (meaning Metro Atlantans) are supposed to
a) sign up here
b) strap on the CAC-provided pedometer and instead of spending an average $2.65/gallon for gas to drive the 3.2 miles to work or school,
c) we should lace up our fashionable, yet overpriced/underworked sneaks (trainers, tennis shoes, combat boots, stilletos or whatever you call them) , and
d) submit a daily commute log and (drumroll please) WALK THERE! (wherever there might be).

The payoff? Aside from possibly winning an iPod shuffle, a gift certificate, or a weekend getaway – you’ll save loot, you’ll shed pounds and you might just make that crucial eye contact with some hottie out for a morning/evening/afternoon jog!

I participated in this back in the Spring and managed to jumpstart my workout regime (there is exactly 7% less Kendall now than back in March …thank you CAC!)
