What’s for Dinner Tonight?

You may not be privy to the fact that there’s a Supper Club in Atlanta, and you’re officially invited to be a member. I mean it. The supper club “is a free organized monthly dining series where the host restaurant donates 20% of the night’s proceeds to Atlanta’s Table, the prepared food rescue project of the Atlanta Community Food Bank.”

The host this month is The Oceaniare, a spot located on Peachtree between 10th and 14th that boasts fresh fish flown in daily. As someone who grew up on the ocean and who was subsequently on a steady diet of fresh fish, you can bet I’ll be checking this place out and reporting back with my usual obnoxiously perky and positive but honest feedback. Fresh halibut in Atlanta? Yeah c’mon.

If you were looking for an excuse to get out of the house and try a new restaurant tonight, you found it. Can’t make it? Visit the site and sign up for their e-mail updates, maybe we’ll catch you in October.

“There’s no membership. Just show up. Eat. Enjoy.”
