Dany Whotley?

You may remember back in the Olden Days there was a sport known as ice hockey. Back then Atlanta had a young team known as the Thrashers who were on the brink of greatness. That team was lead by two young guns, Ilya Kovalchuk and Dany Heatley.

As of today the Thrashers are fifty percent lighter in the Young Gun Category as they have fulfilled the wish or Mr. Heatley and traded him.

ATLANTA (August 23, 2005) — The Atlanta Thrashers have acquired forward Marian Hossa (right) and defenseman Greg de Vries from the Ottawa Senators in exchange for forward Dany Heatley, according to Executive Vice President and General Manager Don Waddell.

Unfortunately, Heatley’s legacy in Atlanta will remain his high-speed one-car accident on Lenox Road in 2003 which hurt him severely subsiquently killed his friend and teammate Dan Snyder (AJC story).

Good luck, Dany.
