Here are the details on how to register: Click on the “Register” link at http://www.worldkickball.com. At the bottom of that page you will find a button that will take you to the registration area. The Fall 2005 division will be comprised of a maximum of 16 teams, with each team consisting of no fewer than 12, but no more than 26 registered players. Teams are encouraged to hold rosters of at least 18 members. Each team must field at least 8 players, but not more than 11, with a minimum of 4 players of each sex.

You can sign up for individual registration or as a group to start your own team. After you choose a user name and password and have entered your contact information, you have two options:

1. Sign up as an individual for placement on a team

2. Sign up as a group. A group is anywhere from 2-26 people that want to play together. Groups will be placed on the same team and large (12 or more people) groups will be upgraded to teams as space permits.

Make sure your friends know your group/team name so they know what to
register for. If you have further questions regarding registration, please use the contact email on www.worldkickball.com. The fee includes all equipment, WAKA team t-shirt for each player, actual games, social organization, personal WAKA player cards, funds for division parties, specials/discounts at the sponsor restaurant/bar, other general operation costs, and oh yeah, the making new friends part is priceless! This is the biggest bang for your entertainment buck in the Atlanta area!

Division teams and positions will fill up quickly, so get on the ball and register now!!

That’s what I thought too, about the rules…as with anything else it’s presented in a way that’s far more complicated than it really is.

It’s the game of your youth (but with less energy), all I did was show up and listen to the guys when they told me to run. :)

Are kegs of beer posted at each base? I think that is the only way this old man will be getting involved.
