Happy 47th birthday, Julio Franco, if today is, in fact, your birthday and if you are the age you claim to be.

The enterprising folks over at The High Court of Sports have an Eight Degrees of Julio Franco article that connects Julio to Charley Gould of the 1869 Cincinnati Red Stockings – Americaís first professional baseball team – in eight simple steps.
