A postivie side to the red light camera

I’m not a big fan of red light cameras. I don’t despise them since I don’t run red lights and who knows they might stop someone from running one. I just don’t like the fact that it lessens our sensitivity to being monitored. Call me paranoid but I don’t want some government agency to be able to track me all the time and I think things like red light cameras and RFID tags are the beginning of that. However I did find a positive attribute to one. While driving through the cholesterol clogged artery known as jimmy Carter Boulevard, I saw the following message on a church sign “Thou shalt not run this red light”. Now if that isn’t payoff enough for the cameras I don’t know what is.
