On Friday I ventured out of my normal ITP spots for a friendís birthday celebration at the Blue Olive. If you live in the area, itís worth a visit for a martini or drink. They have an excellent martini list, and also nicely stocked bar. The bartender was so sweet and she poured 7 shots on the house for the birthday girl and her party. I canít remember the last time I received such great bar service in Atlanta. Anyway, Blue Olive is located across from Perimeter Mall in the same shopping center as CafÈ Intermezzo and Houlihanís. Blue Olive does not serve any food yet, but from their website it looks like sushi is on the menu in the future. By playing various genres of music and marketing the 30ish crowd, I believe Blue Olive is a nice change for Atlanta.
