Well it’s official, the Billboard R&B Hip-Hop Conference and Awards will be descending upon the city August 3 – 5 at the Hotel Intercontinental in Buckhead. Also of mention, the super-Christian MegaFest will be in town from August 3 – 6 at the Georgia World Congress Center and Georgia Dome. Competition? Not really. At least it’s not Atlanta Gay Pride like it was a few years ago.

(On a side note, did anyone see Atlanta’s own G. Garvin hocking the ‘Fest on TVOne? Comcast subscribers? Anyone?)
