pushpush it real good!

Will y’all laugh at me if I admit I had never been to PushPush Theater in Decatur before Saturday night? My boyfriend and I went to see this show, which was unexpectedly awesome. If you missed it, and you’re sad (which you should be), the creator, Michael Haverty, may — may, I’m not sure about this — be helping the Center for Puppetry Arts with their reprise of Avanti, Da Vinci! at the end of June.

Regardless, you might well want to head down to PushPush tonight, where they are having a cabaret and silent auction to benefit local actor Emilio Perey, or tomorrow night, when the Glorious Ladies of Comedy will be all about the improv.

The new Figo Pasta is right around the corner, for those of you who like to combine carbo-loading and theater.

    They did Noel Coward’s Private Lives in March. The performance was excellent. Some pictures from the show:

    Yeah, Gilgamesh was great. Weird, but in a good way. I laughed my a** off.
