A Foggy Day

I was a stranger in the city

Out of town were the people I knew

I had that feeling of self-pity

What to do? What to do? What to do?*

This isn’t London, and I’m not particularly blue, but I can’t remember the last time Atlanta had so much lighthouse-worthy fog. The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook and the AJC is covering it like front page news. So watch yourself, my fellow Atlantans. With visibility at under a quarter-mile, your morning and lunchtime commutes might just redefine “nerve-wracking.”
