As Jessica so noted, today is Valentine’s Day. That tortuous day where those of us who are single can’t go to dinner ANYWHERE in the city. However, as Atlanta Magazine notes, “Metro Atlanta has one of the highest rates of single residents– 46 percent– of any major city in the country. And within the city limits, that rate skyrockets to a whopping 69 percent.” So there are plenty of things for singles to do tonight. Myself, I’m heading out to Halo tonight. I also thought about Sutra Lounge, which is starting its Midtown Martini Mondays events tonight with a big special event that features a complimentary buffet, but I’ve been bugging my friends about Halo for a while. Any thoughts on a good time to show up on a Monday night?

Apparently you can go to a taping of “Blue Collar TV” this week, also. Fun! But don’t go Wednesday night. Because that’s the Metblog Meetup.
