Hello. My name is Tony, but you can call me Tony.

So, after making a critical comment about the state of Atlanta’s Metroblogging site, I decided it would be more productive for me to climb aboard and contribute rather than stand by and criticize. If y’all will have me, that is.

While I wasn’t born in Georgia, I consider myself a native as I was educated here from age 8 through college. After college, I lived out in Portland, Oregon for four years, an experience that has snapped into focus the things Atlanta does right and the things Atlanta does horribly wrong. My personal blog can be found at www.tonysimon.org.

It’s hard to say exactly what my angle will be, but I do have a tendency to fly off the handle about insignificant matters, a tendency which I will attempt to keep in check in the interest of productive group discussion.

Not all of my sentences will have such repetitive structure, I promise.

Seems like a good idea. I read your personal blog a few times a week even though I don’t know who the hell you are. Maybe you can go ahead and paint the Atlanta Metblog office while you are here. SHouldn’t ake you too long….

So the process is: talk smack about the Metroblog, then become an author?

It reminds me of Office Space where the main character Peter tells the bosses what a crappy job he’s been doing and receives a promotion.

One of the Bobs: “Looks like you’ve been missing a lot of work lately.”

Peter: “I wouldn’t say I’ve been missing it Bob.”
