I can’t complain
. . . since I didn’t vote. My New York absentee ballot application apparently didn’t make it up in time. I know, I know: this of all years! But honestly, casting a vote for any of the three options in front of me (Bush, Kerry, Badnarik) would have cost me some sleep. Better to remain a sleep-getting sheep.
But I’m proud of all of y’all who did vote. Though I am surprised that Dekalb County backed Amendment #1 by 60-40. Meanwhile, my friend Reid Stott, whom I’ve recruited for this blog before, is venting his rage at Deluded Denise Majette.
When I haven’t been failing to do my duty as an American citizen, I’ve been avidly following the lovers-on-the-run saga that started in Forsyth last Saturday. It’s kind of romantic, in a non-law-abiding, armed-and-dangerous, drug-addled sort of way.
Well, the sheep will get what they deserve.
