I’m a Georgia Voter…
…atleast that is what the sticker on my shirt says. That’s right I drug my self out of bed at 5:30 in the am. That’s three hours earlier than normal. Got out the door for a five minute drive to my polling place by 6:30am. I was greeted by a nice long line which is encouraging that so many feel the need to be heard. I stood in line and meet some nice folks from the area. By eight o’clock I was at the desk showing my ID. I have to say it all went pretty smoothly for me. Being a fan of technology I was excited to see the new voting machines. They seemed to be pretty much user friendly. I was out the door in an hour and a half.
I did learn that a few business around Atlanta are rewarding us for voting. Bruster’s is one. They are giving away a free cone if you have a “I’m a Georgia Voter” sticker. Also some of the clubs in Atlanta a giving free emission tonight. So I may have to be going into work tomorrow with a nice hangover. Hope you all had as good experience as I did and my the best man win.
