Atlanta Sports Round-Up

Exciting sports day for Atlanta yesterday.

First and, of course, most important, The Braves played a thriller and won! I almost had a heart-attack yelling at the TV. Game 5 tonight. Ambulances are on stand-by for me.

Football over the weekend had mixed results. Tech won (and upset Maryland), but UGA was upset by Tennessee. More people in Atlanta are probably upset by the UGA loss than are happy about the Tech win. But the Falcons lost also. Crud. Actually, I think that this will be a shot in the arm. Their offense has been lethargic over the last couple of weeks and Vick needs something to turn him back in to Michael Vick.

I may be going to the Braves game tonight – unfortunately though, Turner Field does not have WiFi.

    Poor, poor Ken Caminiti.

Why would you need wifi during a Post Season Game 5?! I could see where it might be useful during summer games, but October? Nah.

Jessica – I was taken back by that news also. Very, truly sad.

Rebekah – Don’t we need WiFi everywhere? I mean, seriously, if I had WiFi at the Ted then I could be live blogging the game… I can’t think of a more compelling reason to have it. Heh. :)
