    Yeah, have really loved the show so far. We live in Grant Park and much of the first episode was shot there (zombie on ground in park, both houses, zombies in street), so it was cool to see the ‘hood.

    I love the shot in the poster, but it’s almost like they took I-75/85 South (downtown connector) and mashed it with the background of Freedom Parkway looking west. Pretty cool image.

    Only thing that bugs me with the show is the lead character Rick’s lack of questions—the dude wakes up to aw world of zombies and barely asks anything, like: What happened? Do they know what caused it? How is it transmitted? Is it everywhere? Has the government collapsed? Etc.

    Ah, awesome – I didn’t know that was all shot in GP!

    Quite a few things bug me about the show (why would zombies’ olfactory senses work? You can’t smell if your nose has rotted off, right? And why was Rick’s wife so quick to jump into bed with whats-his-face?)… but I’m happy to suspend my disbelief for the entertainment. I’ll attempt to explain away Rick’s lack of questions with the fact that they made it clear in the first episode that he’s a “man of few words.” :)
