    Moreover he no longer loved her, beacsue of the unconscious injury she had brought upon his home and his name (Chopin 3). This quote displays irony, beacsue he had believed that Desiree wasn’t fully white and beacsue of that he no longer had a reason to love her. He is wrong in that belief and it’s ironic beacsue he is the one that isn’t fully white whilst she is.
