I am buying a new condo in a great new area of town, but the first thing someone says to me is that someone was robbed there. And, the place is lined to the gills with surveillance. It is disheartening to know that crime has gone back to what it was a decade ago. It is undiscriminating and mindless. I am sorry to hear about the two stories here. I can only hope the upcoming mayoral elections extend some form of hope. It IS bad.
