I just moved here last year from Nashville. I love Nashville. I LOVE ATLANTA!!! Never thought I’d like it.

jamsmooth if it’s so "2nd tier", leave. Life’s too short to be unhappy.

Atlanta will always be a 2nd tier city. Honestly I can’t think of one single reason anyone would actually vacation here. The only reason people live here is because it’s cheap.

i think sweetwater creek state park is underutilized. beautiful trails. great for dogs.

I would say I’ve taken MARTA for granted. Having lived OTP my entire time in Metro Atlanta, I’ve ridden only occasionally. I was very much a part of the driving culture. It is only recently that I’ve taken an interest in using MARTA to explore more of the city.

Now, when I suggest to friends that we go for a ride, I’m surprised at the response: often one of uncertainty or hesitance.

To me, riding MARTA is an awesome, new adventure.
