I supose you are writing about me as an incoherent political analysis submitter. As this is the first time I have done this, I am not the smartest, brightest, nor educated in politics as you gentleman are. However, I have known Sam Nunn as long as I have been in Georgia. (1973)He is a dedicated, honest, straightforward man that has held office. He turned down the honor of the Presidence due to all the BS in Washington, D.C.
I am a democrat and now I will never vote again because of all the failures of the party. It is like throwing my vote away. Now a man I trusted, admired, held promise for has indorsed the wrong candidate reenforces my belief in how bad this system has gotten.
Does it matter to Georgia? NO
Does it matter to Pennsyvania? NO
Does it matter to the country as a whole NO

But for me it matters because it shows how Obama is being run down our throats.

PS I am greateful that I have a place to express my opinion. I am a nobody they call the american public. THANKS

fwiw, i think sam nunn’s endorsement is probably worth one vote in the presidential election….sam nunn’s.

I am very disappointed in Senator Nunn in his chose of Obama. It is like stars being pulled into a black hole.I think the Clinton legacy of the oval office has doomed everyone associated with him. Gore failed, now Hilary, numerous senators have turned their backs and gone to the othere side. Of all the Senators I would never had thought Sam Nunn would go to the Obama side. I do not trust Obama for a second. He speaks of change. But has yet to say what changes he would make. Seeing his preacher, his past reputation, the lack of patritism, and the flip floping on thing he has said should scare people. The king has no cloths and so many people are following him down the wrong path. George W. has been the worst President in our history and I can not believe the country would vote in another Republican. Why could we not learn from Viet Nam. Today Viet Nam is prosperus and at peace. All the doom and violence, all the men and woman lost because of our governments stupidity. Now this in Iraq. Yes we need to get Ben Lauden and bring justice to 9/11 but we need to get out of Iraq and stop beings the worlds cop. I wish people like Sam Nunn would change his mind and see Obama for what he really is.

As in, will Georgia go for Obama in the general? I suppose Nunn is good for a few percent, but is he going to turn around 2004′s 17% margin? Well, I wouldn’t hold my breath…

I tend to agree with almost 100% of what you said. I’ll clarify by asking if Nunn’s endorsement matters in this state if/when Obama is the Democratic nominee. Certainly it’s more meaningful than Jimmy Carter’s implied endorsement?

Yeah, that will probably have a huge effect on how Georgia votes in the primary. Oh, wait…

Really now, what’s the story with political bigwigs who can’t figure out who to endorse until 90% of the country has weighed in? I like Nunn well enough, but please — he voted with the rest of us, right? Wasn’t that an endorsement? Or does he get two bites at the apple?

So he waited to go public until he could be sure he was backing a winner. That’s just lame. If that’s the way he the political class wants to play it, they should all move to Montana.

And incidentally, most people in Pennsylvania probably think Nunn has something to do with the Pope’s visit.
