I actually had a friend years back take one to the eye on Halloween. Ended up having to have surgery and it was also broadcast on the local news. No perps were found of course but that could cause some serious damage if being hit in the wrong place (and it was a bit more serious then the christmas story). I also hope this is not just target practice until they try to use something like a real gun. Glad to hear you and your wife are OK.
