I was just north of the Dome at a club last night and you wouldn't have known anything was wrong. I flippantly thought I should send out an email for folks to blog something/text something, but when I started getting phone calls from loved ones and looked up at a TV I realized just how serious things were.

I hope James and everyone else who was affected last night is safe and sound and bracing for what will be more bad weather and may be more tornadoes.

Wow. This is really shocking.

Some reports are likening it to a warzone. The dome was hit and so was the area around it. I'm watching the new about it now. The storms aren't over. Stay safe.

I was staying the night at my property just south of the airport and I was watching the weather radar and the air traffic control radar on my computer tonight... ANYONE that was in a plane arriving or leaving the Atlanta Airport got an AMAZING light show. We only had rain down here but the lightning was almost constant and totally awesome. I hope everyone was okay back toward the city.

Wow - I was getting pissy with my family for continually waking me up with "are you OK" phone calls. "I'm standing on the porch and it's nothing but wet," I said. "I'm sure the TV news is focusing on the worst of it. Good night." This from the southern edge of Candler Park.

If anyone needs anything from a neighbor tonight, you can ring me at (404) 287-0875.
