Reckless Records, as one example, is a geek shop. You could have a geek shop that offers books and coffee, too. Really, though, the point of a "geek-shop" is as something that'll generate reactions for alternatives. Though, to be clear, I'd visit a nerd shop if it stocked indie music, books (comics and otherwise) and a decent selection of oddball T-shirts or something. A neighborhood pub could be great in that spot, though it is a little small. But when you said falafel place, I went "Oooooo!" out loud. So.
