open thread: what are you up to this weekend

okay, atlanta metblog readers, an open thread to tell us all what you are up to this weekend.

i, your fearless blogger, am going to be at a wedding saturday night. during the day, i maye check out streetstage in woodruff park, and on sunday i am giving serious consideration to seeing the ghastly dreadfuls at the center for pupptery arts.

yes, this may be the most pointless post ever, but i want to hear what you all are up to…

so how ’bout it?

    Had great plans to see Gogol Bordello at the Roxy tonight, but they appear to be sold out. If it weren’t up in Buckhead I would look to buy a ticket on the street…but I don’t trek up there for much nowadays. More likely my evening will involve a group of friends sitting on a porch drinking beers.

    Tomorrow is GT football homecoming! And maybe some EAV visits Saturday, if I’m up to it after drinking all day – the Glenwood has a shuffleboard table. Probably some more sitting on the porch. Hoping it will rain.

    Lets see…

    Just like Abby, I will be at the TECH homecoming game! Getting there early and cooking breakfast on a grill with a cast iron skillet. One pan cooking is my forte. Most of the day will be spent drinking myself silly. Most of the evening will be spent trying to sober up for Sunday.

    Sunday I will wake up early and drive over to Douglasville for a disc golf tournament. The Primo Plastic Intergalatic Championship to be exact.
    Yeah it is a mouthful. The tourney is sold out and spectators are more than welcome.

    Going to Bert’s Pumpkin Patch just outside of Amicalola to find the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. It really is a great day trip!

    Candler Park golfing on Sunday (probably with Beer).

    It’s my own personal decatur Beer fest.
