We've been voted the unfriendliest worldwide travel destination and our tourism industry is seriously hurting. The only people who are still excited are the people who are willing to put a euro fuelled bargin shopping spree up again the chance of accidental arrest due to a homeland security oversight. The Hong Long dollar is hurting too and they have better luxury stores! The dollar might be going out but no one is coming here. I figure with the dollar on the way out, all those tourists will need someone to carry them here. The Web 2.0 paint scheme doesn't impress me, though, except for the blue engine covers. Friendly attendants, a sleeping mask and some earplugs, a snack of Haagen Das and one free cocktail in coach. And the leg room was OK and I had a spot for my carry on in the overhead bin. And the food was pretty decent too. And they now have Fresca! Maybe they learned that if you put people on a plane for 9 hours you need to provide some service. Maybe the next time I or somebody traveling with me has medical emergency near a Delta gate, they won't be more interested in boarding the flight than helping me out.
