Isn’t hockey in atlanta like mayo on chocolate cake?

Let’s take up a collection to buy d.ortiz some Bruins playoff tickets.

Oh, wait, we don’t really need to do that, do we?

Gee, that’d be funny if I was a Bruins fan.

There are probably Iditarod fans here too. So? What’s next for Atlanta? Skiing? Yacht races?

    Boy you are right.

This city financially supports a team, creates a near-playoff atmosphere during crucial games, has a fan base dedicated enough to put up a Web site and sell their own merchandise.

They sell out there first playoff game and rock the house even in a loss.

You’re right. No way there should be a hockey team here, since it’s not cold enough outside.

Of course, it isn’t cold enough to ice over in New York, Pittsburgh, Boston, Detroit, Washington DC during half of the hockey season either, but let’s not let reason detract from being a good malcontent who never has anything but negative crap to say.

While we’re at it, I suppose we should suggest we no longer allow anyone to compete in the Olympics in figure skating, ice hockey, hell any sport, unless they come from a cold weather climate.

    Smart call.

Down 0-2. Anyone out there still feeling jubilant?

Here’s hoping we at least register a victory in our first post-season appearance.

    *fingers crossed*
