mannequin, part II

no i am still not referring to the sequel staring kristy swanson that debuted in 1991*.

remember those mannequins that caused a bit of a stir on piedmont when they were installed on the street to advertise eon at lindbergh? if not here is a refresher.

well i got word that the folks at eon have donated the mannequins for a contest at scad-atlanta. students are turning the mannequins into their vision of urban living. that’s the only rule. they can pretty much do whatever they want with it.

the prize is $2000 toward the winning student’s tuition and $2000 to their favorite arts organization.

the winners are going to be unveiled on april 5 and have their works displayed at the museum of design atlanta.

we’ll bring you the winning entry and some comments by the winning student as soon as they pick.
