buckhead brides

one of the nice things about having the opportuity to write in this space is that when something comes up that i am really passionate about, i can use it to pitch. my company puts on a 5k/10k charity road race every year (i’ll pitch that later, but if you want to check it out you can click here) and the sole beneficiary of the event is the georgia cancer foundation.

i won’t try to go into everything they do, please check the web site, but suffice it to say i have seldom been as impressed with the local impact of a charity as i am with the gcf.

well here is a great opportunity to help out the gcf and have a great time as well. on satuday, march 30, from 7:30 to 11:00, you can attend the march of the brides fashion show at tounge and groove in buckhead. for $25 you get food, an open bar, a silent auction and a preview of designer isabella margianu’s fall collection of wedding gowns.

now i’ll be frank, this event combines two things i haven’t had the greatest of experiences with, namely buckhead and weddings, so its a testament to the gcf that i plan to be there.

you should totally check it out.
