Just Thinking About It Makes Me Breathe Heavy.
Ever wanted to climb the stairs 55 floors (1,378 steps) to the top of the Bank of America building? Me either. I imagine it would end in my legs falling completely off my body, and I’m rather fond of them.
Still, chances are you know some just crazy enough to try this, so here’s the 411:
Benefiting the American Lunch Lung Association
Saturday April 21

Please note that I expect pictures of the aftermath as a thank-you for sharing this valuable and sadistic information.
Oops, had a little problem with an itchy “Enter” finger. Meant to say, sounds interesting. Much more interesting than, say, that boring previous post. :-)
Sorry toots, t’was the bickering that I was yawning at, not the topic/author. ;)
American Lunch Association? In anticipation of not getting to eat lunch today, I’d like to sign up for the ALA to bring me one.
Nice catch. I am a lazy ass spell checkin’ half hearted blogger.
Re lunch: Zifty it.
Your link goes to http://atlanta.metblogs.com/archives/2007/03/www.climbatlanta.org instead of http://www.climbatlana.org.
fugaboutit…that’s what I get for always writing posts long hand and not using any damn wysiwyg buttons….leave out one damn “http://” and your url shits the bed, write stuff in word and let it auto correct your spelling and you get busted for that too…
today, it doesn’t pay to be lazy.
If it makes you feel better, Designbot’s link doesn’t work either…… Atlanta has 2 t’s!
It does! It does! You’re my new BFF!
Oh and PS I fixedededed my bunk linkageeeee
Sweet… between Annie loving me and this, I’m a made man on atl metblogs
Haha! Count me in! Sadism = architecture majors
Someone should make a facebook group and send out the invites lol.
I love the Virtual Climber one. Dont get me wrong, I love the donating and not having to do as much work, but it sounds so hi tech.
‘Virtual Climbers
Virtual Climbers are not climbing on event day, but can attend the event and receive a t-shirt’
I wish I could just be a virtual worker, not really work during the day, but attend and , hey getting a tshirt isn’t bad either.
From what I can tell from the site, you don’t get to get outside on the top… something I’ve always wanted to do since I moved to Atlanta 13 yrs ago. I’d love to do this but not if I run up 55 floors only to see an elevator lobby.
