probably not the best house to live in sin in…

church%20for%20sale.jpg

my buddy forwarded me this link on craigslist atlanta not to long ago, concerning a chruch for sale in inman park. my curiosity peaked i followed the link.

apparently an enterprising bulder has taken an old baptist church on degress avenue in inman park and turned it into a loft-style home. take a look at the pictures on the realtor’s web site. the place is pretty incredible.

and yours for just a little less than $900,000.

don’t worry, perhaps you could just send the collection plate around the living room on sunday morning.

That is way cool. I would totally live there. If i had 900,000 dollars. And no kids.

I went to this house this fall — mary stanley studio hosted an exhibit of William Boling’s photography there. The interior is absolutely beautiful.

ooh, and it was built on the site of the Troup Hurt House, center of the Battle of Atlanta in 1864 — which I just found out is the “moment shown in the Cyclorama.” awesome. http://www.cviog.uga.edu/Projects/gainfo/gahistmarkers/trouphurthousehistmarker.htm
