Class of 3000 Premiere at The Fox

André “3000” Benjamin of Outkast and Cartoon Network are hosting a shindig for the premiere of the new animated series “Class of 3000” tomorrow night at The Fox Theatre. André “3000” voices the main character, Atlanta native Sunny Bridges, who leaves an incredible music career to teach kids at the prestigious Westley School for the Performing Arts in Atlanta, where he looks for something he lost with no plans of turning back. The premiere event will feature a musical performance by Chris Brown and a “blue carpet” arrival by André on a Class of 3000 bus around 6 p.m., if you want to do the celebrity-watching thing outside the Fox.

The show sounds so cute…like a hipper, animated version of School of Rock, maybe?

I’ll be in attendance since my wife works for Cartoon Network.

Some of her co-workers have met Andre and I hope to get the same chance tomorrow night.

If I can, I’ll post pictures to Flickr and report back here on Thursday with a post.

Will they let cameras and audio recorders into the event, do you think? I’ll be there tonight, too, Seth. So let’s see if we and our tele/photo-capture devices get the boot.
