Folks are going to jump all over this post, and possibily for good reason. It reads rather like an ad. If you really love this place, go into some juicy detail about the meal that sent you over the edge. Or, tell us why it’s one of the city’s hidden gems: that the fresh catch is something I can’t get anywhere else (i.e. not Gulf shrimp) or that the staff converses in Pirate Speak. Anything that doesn’t read like PR copy will keep you out of the line of fire.
If you’re trying to drum up business for Blue Marlin–pure intentions or no–this doesn’t do it for me. I’d imagine I’m not in the minority.
