Duluth Fall Festival

fall is in the air and that means the Duluth Fall Festival is just around the corner. held during the last weekend in September every year, the DFF started in 1983 and is one of the best and biggest fall festivals in the state. i’ve been going for several years now and have never been disappointed. so go check it out this year — September 30 to October 1 at the historic Downtown Duluth. the event is so well organized that finding a parking space is not that of a big deal. here’s a tip i’m sure you’d appreciate: Duluth Police is one of the strictest in the state. they will give you a ticket for going 1 mile over the speed limit especially around the downtown Duluth area and Pleasant Hill. also, be careful at the Pleasant Hill and Peachtree Industrial Blvd intersection which has cameras in place. running a yellow light there will guarantee you a ticket in the mail. as well as blocking an intersection, improper lane changes, or not stopping at the railroad track on Pleasant Hill. how do you think they fund their beautiful city and numerous new unmarked vehicles including bicycles, SUVs, pick-up trucks, and sedans. they’re an award-winning city for nothing. anyway, have fun in Duluth but obey traffic laws at all times!
