Pinecrest Academy, a private school of excellence located in Cumming, is holding its Pinecrest Athletic Club Golf Scramble on Monday, October 9, 2006 at Windermere Golf Club. Proceeds will benefit the school’s Paladin Baseball program. The event is open to all levels of golf ability and includes hors d’oeuvres and beverages delivered and served during play, dinner afterwards, a live auction, and an awards ceremony.

Special events of the day also include a million-dollar shoot-out, prizes for longest drive, closest to the pin, straightest drive, and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. The day will begin with registration at 12:00 noon. A golf clinic is scheduled at 12:30 followed by a 1:00 tee time.

Registration is $175 per player before September 15th. After September 15th, the fee will be $200 per player.
