‘your pie is in my bar.’ ‘your bar is in my pie.’ – yet another great food deal

fresh off the heels of the last ‘eat to live’ promotion, concentric restaurants is following up with a continuation of the deal. next week they are going to be offering a three course meal at piebar for $15.
no honestly folks, this one you are crazy if you pass up. piebar is one of the most innovative places i have ever been to. the design is just awesome. the took the modern movement bank building and turned it into something absolutely out-of-this-world inside. and i mean that, i always feel like i am in a spaceship when i go in there.
beyond that, melissa fedorko’s pizzas are some of the most innovative and interesting food creations i have ever seen (i once had a ‘sushi’ pizza made with soy sauce, pickled ginger and tuna that was out of this world. of course if you are not so adventurous its also the best pepperoni pizza you can find on earth.
so for $15 bucks (yes, you literally can spend that on lunch at jason’s deli like i did today) you get:

Thanks for posting these, James — these promos weren’t on any websites, and I wouldn’t have known about them otherwise. We had an outstanding meal at One this week and might hit up some PieBar next week.

I had grilled sourdough with goat cheese, shrooms and truffles followed by a seared tuna steak served with asparagus and tomato salad and some sort of delicious blueberry dessert with lemon thyme sorbet.
I’m sure there were other things on the menu, but they’ve since disappeared from my mind. choice of four or five apps, five entrees and three desserts.
