Who Needs Tivo?
When we have Cynthia McKinney? Seems Cynthia Mac has purchased $9,000 plus worth of commercial ad time to air before the big runoff on Tuesday.
The list of networks on which these ads will air is the really interesting part: CNN, Lifetime, The Family Channel, TV One, BET, The History Channel and The Oxygen Network. I can totally see that most of these would target her viewers, but The History Channel? I just don’t really see targeting the viewers of The History Channel (of which I am an avid member) as being a fruitful use of her funds. Not that I care if she squanders her funding.
The real question, though, is why they aren’t being aired on The Comedy Channel. I think it would be great if they would run during The Daily Show with Jon Stewart or the Colbert Report. I probably wouldn’t even skip them using Tivo. Hell, they might even be nominated for an Emmy!
I am starting to think James might be right. I don’t know if I will enjoy Georgia politics as much if McKinney isn’t around to keep me laughing.
all this mckinney talk is becoming tiresome. people don’t come to this blog to read your lame-ass digs and punchlines. at least i hope they don’t. if you can’t offer anything more substantial than a sneer and harrumph, then leave the politics alone.
